Colorado Trial Status

No jury trials until August 3, with exceptions

Jury trials in Colorado state courts were suspended [DateCounter startDate=”2020-03-16″ endDate=”now” format=”%m months, %d days”] ago.

The Colorado Supreme Court issued a proclamation June 15 postponing jury trials in state courts until August 3rd: [DateCounter startDate=”2020-03-16″ endDate=”2020-08-03″ format=”%m months, %d days”] after they were first suspended. (PDF)

This proclamation does not affect municipal courts, which can operate independently. County and District state courts are subject to the order, but individual Chief Justices may apply for a waiver to begin jury trials prior to August 3rd.
